| | If you read the bible, the apple was just a metaphor for the knowledge of shame, and that's why adam and eve covered themselves with leaves. God obviously didn't like that, and of course, cursed Eve with children, or childbirth, I can't remember. I've only read Genesis and Psalms of the bible, even though I'm a Dudeist. Still, holy scripture has some very beautiful poetry, imagery and ideals in it, even if the whole higher power thing is stupid. |
